GRCA will be drawing down New Dundee reservoir through November 2019 to carry out maintenance work on the dam. This work will include replacement of the gate seal at the base ofthe gate and repair of the intake pipe used by the municipal fire service on the deck of the structure. Gradual drawdown of the reservoir is planned from Nov 8th to Nov 25th with work on the structure expected to be completed during the week of Nov 25th. Target levels for the drawdown will be between 315.5m and 316.5m. Refilling will occur once the repair work is completed and is expected to take a few weeks, depending on weather conditions.
