Learn about rocks and minerals as we hike through Rockwood Conservation Area, then go right into a safe cave for an even closer look. Participants including volunteers must be prepared to get muddy and be able to crawl on your hands and knees over rock! Your class preplan will include detailed notes about required clothing and other specific program details. Best combined with Water Ecology/Creature Search to make a full day.

Full-day programs can be booked any time between 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Half-day programs are typically 1.5 to 2 hours long and can be booked for the morning between 9:00 and 11:45 or afternoon 12:30 – 3:00 p.m.
